Thank you for your interest in the Non Linear course.

About the opportunity:

Non Linear is a free full-time 13-week multi-disciplinary training course across Content Creation, Film & TV Production, Music, Art & Design aimed at helping young Londoners who want to kickstart a creative career.

Learners will be exposed to an array of practical and technical skills and be taught how creativity and problem-solving skills can be applied within real-world professional environments.

We are particularly looking for applications from those who are just starting to explore potential career pathways in the creative industries, with an interest in live music and/or film, music, content creation and social media areas.

 Key dates

  • Deadline to express an interest in the opportunity - 10 October 2025.
  • Assessment day will take place at the Good Growth Hub - date of which will be confirmed post deadline.

How to apply

You will need to be prepared to say why you would like to be considered for the opportunity through a series of questions. Please read over the sub-sections to each question which provide further clarification for what we are looking for. We aren't looking for those with the best grades or those with prior experience, rather we are looking for people who are curious, want to put themselves forward, and who are eager to learn.

Along with the set questions, please upload a CV (which gives us a further picture for who you are) and throughout there are options in the form to upload answers to your application questions in video or audio format.

Please submit by Friday 10th of October at 5pm.

Following application deadline day - our team will look through applications and invite those we feel are most suited to benefit for the course to an assessment day. The assessment morning/afternoon is an opportunity for both us and you to find out more about the programme, and to meet other potential applicants.

There will be teamwork excerises and an individual 10-minute interview with the team. The assessment days give us the chance to select the final group of participants. Please be reassured that these are designed to be enjoyable, fun and a great way to meet new people.

Please let us know if you would like this form in a different format by contacting us at goodgrowthhub@anewdirection.org.uk
