As a Floor Assistant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of visitor experience and safety, ensuring that all audiences feel welcome and engaged within our building.

Your Role
 In this role, you will work across multiple areas, including ticketing, retail, and public programme support. You will collaborate with the wider Front of House team to ensure V&A East’s values are integral to the visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure visitors feel welcomed and safe
• Work across ticketing, retail, and events support
• Support the delivery of V&A East’s strategic objectives
• Report maintenance issues and keep the Storehouse in top condition

As a Front of House Assistant, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that provides a welcoming service to all visitors, ensuring they feel safe and at ease. Your role will be essential in creating a positive experience for our guests.

Your Role   In this position, you will help ensure the comfort and safety of the public, assist with ticket checking, manage merchandise sales, and handle cash and card transactions. You’ll play a crucial part in enhancing the visitor experience during our exciting performances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the comfort and safety of all visitors during events
• Sell ice cream, programs, and merchandise
• Work in the cloakroom and manage ticket checking
• Handle cash and operate card machines
