Research & Zine-Making Focus Groups

About the Project

Good Growth Hub is looking for x 10 creative freelance practitioners whose work involves Climate Change or is an area of interest for them as part of our Freelance Exchange programme.

We are looking for freelancers to act as co-researchers with the University of London's Institute of Culture, Languages and Societies department (ILCS). In the x3 workshops you will be exploring how to build positives narratives to change perspectives on climate change and using the findings of the workshops to create a collaborative zine, with the guidance of Jade Chao from Daikon Zine.

Experience with film making, photography, zine-making are a plus. It is not essential, but it may also be beneficial if you speak a language other than English.

The zine and research will be submitted to the Arts and Humanities Research Council.

Who is involved/funding the work:

The work is funded by a small grant from the British Academy, which is the UK’s national academy for the humanities and social sciences. The team leading the research is from the University of London’s School of Advanced Study, who are working alongside the Good Growth Hub.
