C&COP x V&A East Museum Programme 2025 is a 2-day training programme where young east Londoners aged 18-30 are introduced to everything you need to know about starting a career in Front of House at the V&A East Museum as Floor Assistants.
This short course is created by the Good Growth Hub in partnership with the V&A East. The V&A East Museum are recruiting for Floor Assistants, and this programme is focused on helping you apply for V&A East Floor Assistant roles. Applications are now open to take part in the programme, apply by 1159 pm on Sunday 14th December 2025.
The programme consists of two workshop sessions:
- Application Writing Workshop – 17 December 2025, 2pm-5pm (at the Good Growth Hub)
Learn how to write a strong application that clearly shows your skills, experience, and motivation. Our facilitators will guide you through CV and cover letter techniques and help you articulate why you’re the right fit for the role. Also hear directly from the V&A team on what they are looking for in your application.
- Interview & Assessment Centre Preparation Workshop – 13 January 2026, 10am – 1pm (at the V&A East Storehouse)
Get ready to shine in interviews and assessment centres. This session will cover confidence building, practical exercises, and tips on how to present yourself effectively to employers.
By attending both workshops and submitting your application form through the V&A website by the deadline (21st December), you’ll secure a guaranteed place at the assessment centre for the V&A East Floor Assistant role taking place in January 2026. These sessions are designed to help you articulate your skills, build your confidence, and help you prepare to succeed; while ensuring you progress directly to the next stage of the recruitment process.
Important facts / dates:
- Applications close for this support programme with the Good Growth Hub close at 1159 pm on Sunday 14th December 2025
- Applications close for Floor Assistants role on V&A website on Sunday 21st December
- If you are selected to attend the programme/workshops - we will be in touch with next steps and to onboard you onto the programme by 5pm on Monday 15th December 2025
- The programme consists of two workshop sessions which you will need to be available to attending on Wednesday 17th December 2025 and Tuesday 13th January 2026
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the programme you must meet the programme's eligibility requirements:
- Aged 18-30 years old
- Current resident of Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest
- Lived in the boroughs whilst at school or college.
